ISO 27001 re-certified.

Due to the recent re-location across the city of Birmingham, a reassessment of Kalamazoo’s commitment to information and data security management was due.

We were required on 25th March to undertake a full day re-audit with our BSI assessor involving many of the staff at Kalamazoo IT including the physical security. We are delighted to share with you we have been recommended for re-certification.

“Information Security is BAU for Kalamazoo IT, but we take our controls and continual improvement of the ISMS very seriously. It requires everyone’s continual input at Kalamazoo to make sure we meet the standards so obtaining re-cert is a great achievement. ” Rob Morris, Field Service & InfoSec Lead

What does this mean?
Benefits of ISO 27001 accreditation to you

In an environment where security, support, service quality, trust and risk are all key considerations, having this BSI ISO 27001 accreditation places Kalamazoo IT in a very strong position, meeting and hopefully exceeding our clients requirements.

ISO 27001 is the only audit-able international standard that defines the requirements of an information security management system (ISMS). An ISMS is a set of policies, procedures, processes and systems that manage information risks, such as cyber attacks, hacks, data leaks or theft.

Certification to ISO/IEC 27001 demonstrates that an organisation has defined and put in place best-practice information security processes.
