Lead Generation Specialist.

The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the regional sales team. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business potential via various methods
  • Utilise mass communication such as phone calls, direct mail, email and social media to introduce our solutions and identify appropriate decision makers within target markets
  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects
  • Conduct a needs analysis and determine prospects pain points to determine how our solutions will speak to those needs
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to help move opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients in our sales management tool, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached
  • Engage with the marketing team to develop content and collaterals to be used to promote our solutions

Requirements: 

  • Experience or exposure to technology fields beneficial
  • 1-3 years telemarketing experience as a minimum
  • Experience with analysing and managing data with attention to detail
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the IT industry a distinct advantage
  • At least GCSE’s in English Language and Maths or equivalent
